ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standard are internationally acknowledged guidelines for quality and environmental management. Any producing or service providing company has the option to prove on voluntary basis that its processes are in compliance with these standards. Corresponding audits are performed on an annual basis by an independent certification body.
Within the framework of EMAS (Eco Management and Audit Scheme) the eco management of a company is examined and audited, this even beyond the requirements of ISO 14001. Part of EMAS is an annual revised environmental statement (available on request).
