New prices for Resimene, Maprenal, Viamin and Modacure

Due to the sharp increase of the prices for Methanol INEOS Melamines will apply the following surcharge as of October 01st 2007:
Europe - Middle East - Africa
Butylated Resins: EUR 0,05 / kg
Methylated Resins: EUR 0,15 / kg
This surcharge is based on an estimated contract price for Methanol of
EUR 340,-/mt. It will be adjusted according to the actual outcome of the contract price setting and will be valid for deliveries in Q4 2007.
Americas - Asia
Butylated Resins: USD 0,053 / lb USD 0,12 / kg
Co-Etherified Resins: USD 0,093 / lb USD 0,21 / kg
Methylated Resins: USD 0,13 / lb USD 0,29 / kg
This surcharge is based on the contract price for Methanol for the month of October and will be adjusted according to the actual outcome of the monthly contract price setting.
In addition, in order to recover other cost increases, effective November 01st INEOS Melamines announces the following price increases:
Europe - Middle East - Africa
Butylated Resins: EUR 0,10 / kg
Methylated Resins: EUR 0,10 / kg
Viamin-grades: EUR 0,50 / kg
Americas - Asia
Butylated Resins: USD 0,082 / lb USD 0,18 / kg
Co-Etherified Resins: USD 0,068 / lb USD 0,15 / kg
Methylated Resins: USD 0,054 / lb USD 0,12 / kg
