New prices in the Americas
Published on June 2nd 2008INEOS Melamines adjusts prices in the Americas after continuing cost increases
Continuing upward movement in raw material, freight and energy costs have necessitated an increase in off list prices for Resimene, Maprenal and Madurit Melamine Formaldehyde resins as follows:
Methylateds: US$ 0.10/lb
Co Ethers: US$ 0.12/lb
Butylateds: US$ 0.12/lb
These prices will be effective for shipments in North and South America made on and after June 1, 2008 or as contracts allow. These increases are in addition to Methanol surcharges, which will still apply.
